The Journey
Keramoti is about 140 kilometers from the airport — mostly motorway, some flat farmland. The drive takes 2 hours, give or take. We don't go through villages, so it's pretty straightforward.
Once you hit Keramoti, you're at the ferry terminal. Ferries to Thassos run every 30-45 minutes in summer (less often in winter). The crossing takes 35-40 minutes. Ferry tickets are around €5-10 per person and you buy them at the ticket window, not from us.
Where You're Headed
Once you're on Thassos, you've got options. Limenas is the main town — has food, history, bars. Golden Beach is sandy and packed in summer. Aliki's got old marble quarries and a nice beach. Giola is a natural swimming pool carved into rocks (Instagram loves it). Potos is the party spot if that's your thing.
Vehicles
For one or two of you, we use a sedan — comfortable, cool, fits your luggage. For bigger groups, a van. Both have air con because two hours in Greek heat is rough without it.
Booking
Tell us when you're landing, how many of you there are, and if you need a child seat. We're done. Summer's busy, so book a day or two ahead if you can. Morning arrival means you can catch an afternoon ferry, no rush.
Ferry Notes
Ferries run every day year-round. Summer? Every 30-45 minutes, all day. Winter (October to May)? Much slower — maybe one boat every couple of hours. Our drivers know the schedules, so if your flight's late, we'll get you there in time for the next one. Worst case, you grab a coffee and wait 45 minutes.
The Numbers
